Microsoft have provided me with an update regarding Skype consumer to Skype for business:
“The deployment of the fixes continues, and we anticipate having fixes in place to resolve the instant messaging and remaining presence problems by the end of this week. Next week, we plan to deploy fixes to resolve contact functionality.”
